I just got some scorpions I ordered from Mark (Redknee), and they arrived beautifully and carefully packed, and in great shape. The package arrived undamaged, well sealed, extremely well packed to prevent shifting, and with a large heat pack to keep them from harm on our cold Colorado nights.
I was very pleasantly surprised to find that Mark had thrown in several extra scorpions for me, and all of them arrived in excellent health. The heat pack had cooled, and since it was so cold here tonight, the package had gotten quite cool, and I figured these little guys and gals would be pretty sluggish. I gave one a little poke to see how it was doing. (I know... you aren't supposed to do that, but remember, this is why I don't keep hot species anymore.

) Well, cold as it was, the little thing showed me the real meaning of fast. For now I am letting them warm up a bit before transfer, as they are not just cold, but fast and cold, and that looks to mean cranky in my estimation. I will let them slowly warm up, (If these little speed devils do anything slowly) and then take my chances moving them into their new digs with their warp drive capability restored. If this doesn't work out very well, I promise to post up to the Bite/Sting reports and 'fess up that I should have moved them when they were cold.
Back to review... I give Redknee a 10 out of 10 for excellent communication, packing, and delivery. I should have said overdelivery, as Mark was quite generous, and I ended up with 15 Centruroides hentzi instead of the 10 I was expecting. Mark is excellent to do business with, and I recommend him most highly. I expect we will be doing trade in the future.
Thank you very much Mark!
