"The collection is an accumulation of some thirty years of study and
is well over a thousand specimens, much closer to two."
"The specimens are pan-global from Africa, Southeast Asia, New
Zealand, Mid Eastern, Southern Russia, U.S., Central and South America.
They are mostly papered (in the case of mantids, usually not enveloped)
and are sometimes spread, but mostly not. As the collection is from
around 1980 to current, many are labeled and many are not."
"South America and Africa predominate, but the others are not
insignificant."
"Due to my interest being taxonomic study, this was not of great
importance to me. Some specimens are not great quality, but most are B+ or better. There are also eighteen specimen drawers and some entomological supplies that will go with them."
"Not pictured is a box of Malaysian Deroplatys specimens a supplier sent me in bulk. Maybe 400+, with a huge range of color and variations, all species except one I think, but mostly the more common of course -- both male and female."
