I was wondering of anybody has ordered anything off them?. I am thinking about ordering a scorpion or 2 off them but would like to make sure they dont have any problems that I dont know about?.

They are now NC Biological.
I ordered 3 L.variolus from Joe. When I received them, they seemed to actually be L.mactans.
I called Joe and we both came to the conclusion that they may in fact be crossed. Their ranges do cross so it is certainly feasible.
Anyway, Joe offered to make good but I decided to just keep them as L.mactans.
Joe was very prompt at responding to my email when he realized that I had a problem and was willing to bend over backwards so I would most definitely do business with him again.

I ordered a female A bicolor from them and mated her with my male. It was unsuccessfull because the mother ate her babies. As for Carolina... the scorp came packaged perfectly and on time.

I have never dealt with CSP through shipping since they were so close to me but when i used to go up there they helped me out alot. The only thing is when you call them they never pick up the phone. I am unsure about now since they have moved.

I purchased scorpions from them twice about a year ago and I admit that he done me right.

They do pick-up the phone now! I talked with Joe's daughter I believe. Very friendly and concerned when I brought up my issue.
Joe called me back the next day.

They are also not good at answering emails either. I emailed them about a week ago and nothing,I just emailed them again last night.

So far I am really happy,just ordered my 2 new scorpions and the guy is great and helpful smile.gif.

I would recommend them even though i did have some problems. I ordered 2 bicolors from them and i recieved one bicolor and a gracilis. they did correct the problem and sent me another bicolor, so i recieved a free gracilis out of the deal. i also had problems with them answering the phone sometimes. but when they did answer they were extremely nice and helpful.

Thanks but I already ordered off them and they are great. I have had some problems with the B. jacksoni coming dead and my overnight shipping I payed $36 bucks for and didnt come over night but thats all UPS fault and he is fileing a claim against them to try and get my shipping money back and is going to replace my B. jacksoni and is giveing me a extra one for free dance2.gif. Great guy smile.gif

Well after all the problems with UPS mad.gif, I finally got all my scorpions and one extra baby B. jacksoni for free dance2.gif. I would defently highly reccomend them and hope to do buisness with them again smile.gif. The guy was very helpful and nice smile.gif. They are also doing there best to get my $36 bucks back for overnight shipping that I never got because of stupid UPS mad.gif. After all the frustration and stress because of UPS, Im very happy now dance2.gif.

Just wanted to let you all know what has been going on here lately. Ive failed to see any payment from Joe reguarding the C. Exilicauda that I sent him which totaled 24 scorps. He assured me that he had sent a paritial payment.......there is no record of payment (I use Paypal) so its obvious that he is gravely mistaken or flat out lying to me. I have emailed him stressing my situation and still have not recieved penny one from him. Id be very careful in dealing with this person in the future on the selling end. I have never bought anything from him so I cant judge on that side of the equation. I'm really upset over it. I took his word when he said that he would pay for them so I sent them in good faith. I clearly see now that not everyone in the hobby is as good natured as myself.....lesson learned the hard way. I'll retract any statement upon payment...but as of yet I have seen nothing from him. I feel that I have given him ample time to send the funds and he has done nothing. Therefore I will not be trading or selling anything for quite some time. Im digusted with the whole thing. I might get out of the hobby completely.

I ordered 3 scorps off them and am 110% happy and cant wait to do buisness again. Sorry to hear about your problems with them but that doesent seem like them, very nice people smile.gif.

Prompt replies are definitely not on CSP's priority list. I have tried via e-mail and telephone for the past three weeks to contact them and when I do get through they always tell me to call back and speak to Joe when he's in. I am calling on regular business hours, all this is very frustrating and I fear I'll have to cross them off of my order list for this reason. It worries me too much that even if I had ordered animals I would not be able to contact Joe if there were any problems.

I have still not seen anything from Joe to remedy the situation I'm in. He has failed to pay me anything and seems to refuse to answer bills sent to him via paypal and any emails or phone calls associated with paying me the money due for the scorpions I had sent him. I know he profited off of what I sent to him and I believe Joe and this company to be very bad at correcting "their" problems which have unfourtunately have become mine. Helpful and professional is a two way street......and they are one way for sure. Thus I do not recomend them for any animal sales and it is much easier to find a more reputable dealer for animals. I took a 145.00 dollar loss because of this company and Joe! Do buisness with them at your own risk.....I have learned my lesson.....Buyer and seller BEWARE!
