Botar sent more true spiders this week, and man...they look amazing.

Similar to the other ancient Trapdoor I posted last week, smaller with a tiger pattern…

Yeah, thos Liphistius are sweet. I think a lot more people would jump through hoops to get them if they knew the kind of burrow and trapdoors they made. I have the murphyorum and the malayanus (spelling?). Their trapdoors with the sweet radial triplines are just sick! I love 'em!

oh, and the fact that they have NO venom delivery system makes them relatively safe, from a toxicity standpoint. at least safer than the more recently evolved trapdoors.

Liphistius murphyorum eh? a nice new flayour of this genus to the hobby :)

the huntsman should be" Heteropoda boiei "

Those trap doors are pretty cool. I might have to pick one up next time Botar rolls into town..

Anyone know how to keep them?
