The Nest I planning moving is now abandoned. How could I go about preserving it. I have a clear spray that I think would work.Any ideas?

You will want to hang it outside and spray some Raid inside it. I know of people using hair spray or shellac to preserve the nest. If you bring it in now where it is warm you will quickly find out that it wasnt abandoned ;)

I looked at it, no cells are sealed over, but I will take it outside. Thanks for the heads up.

It's most likely safe to go ahead and spray it. If you want to be safe, put it in the freezer for a day or so to kill any parasites hidden within the nest.

hehe my friend found a nest and did not bother to look it over... ten minutes later the car was full of thousands drowsy yet pissy yellowjackets.
